Friday Favorites [3-29-2024]

It's Friday, I have a long weekend, and that makes me a happy lady. ๐Ÿ˜‰ As usual. I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea and sharing my favorites from the week!

My day on Thursday started off pretty snuggly. Jack woke up when I was wrapping up my workout, so I headed upstairs to help him. We were snuggling in the rocking chair, and Sammy woke up and joined us. ๐Ÿ˜Š Those few minutes of snuggling and rocking my boys absolutely warmed my mama heart.

I love this picture of Jack. He was working on a piece of bread about the size of his head! He's at the point where it appears that he's eating really well, but then you lift him up out of his highchair and wonder if any food *actually* made it into his mouth. Haha.

My Greek Inspired Pasta Salad was another favorite from the week. It made for a yummy, easy lunch to bring to work! We're reaching the point of the school year where I'm gradually losing steam with packing lunches. ๐Ÿ˜…

I shared on What's Up Wednesday that I've recently converted to the LMNT Electrolytes, instead of Sugar-Free Liquid IV. Starting my morning with a big cup of LMNT is one of my favorite things.

Thursday was a really special day at my school. It was called "Think Different Day," and it is a mental health day for teachers and students. We take a total break from academics, and the kids rotate through stations throughout the day. They could make kites, learn how to make balloon animals, play with play dough, make a kazoo...lots of fun things. I hosted "Diary of a Worm" dirt cups, where we read "Diary of a Worm" and made a little pudding dirt cup snack. It was a nice change of pace ahead of the three day weekend!

Dustin kept the boys home on Tuesday, and they had a snuggly day together. I loved getting pictures from Dustin throughout the day. Look at this one of Jack trying to climb Roo's dog stairs. He's thinking, "Thanks for getting me something to climb!"

Sammy started a T-Ball camp this week at the YMCA and he was so excited! He couldn't have been happier to head out the door with Dustin. I'm looking forward to watching all the T-Ball games this summer!

My last favorite of the week is this sweet picture of my two favorite little boys. ๐Ÿ˜Š I love any and all opportunities to put them in matching clothes!

Happy Easter, everyone! I'll see you back here on Monday. XX

Friday Favorites [9-6-2024]

I'm always happy to see Friday, but especially when the weather calls for... this gloriousness this weekend, I.Can't.Wait.!  I'm linking up with Andrea  and Erika  to share some favorites from our busy, short week!  These brothers get so excited to see each other everyday after school, it melts me! They were together at childcare last year, so it makes me think that they have to be missing each other this year.  Brother time is always a favorite of mine. ๐Ÿ˜Š The chicken street taco kit from Costco is a favorite as well! This time of year it's important to get dinner on the table quickly and I love that this kit involves minimal clean-up.  This little boy is determined to start walking. He's getting braver and braver by the day!  There's a new flag football player in town. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Sammy started flag football this week and I can't wait to watch him in action this fall! This is his "tough face." Haha.  Sammy's lunches have been a favorite for sure....

Friday Favorites [8-9-2024]

It's Friday! I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  to share some favorites from my week.  I don't even know HOW it happened, but this is my last official week of summer. Can you hear me crying from wherever you are? ๐Ÿ˜… June passed slowly, but July and August flew. I know that I will blink and the upcoming week will be over.  We've just been over here trying to soak in all  that's left of summer. ๐Ÿ˜‰ On August 6th, Dustin and I celebrated 8 years of marriage! We celebrated with our first date night in an entire calendar year.  With Jack's allergies and Dustin's crazy work schedule, we find it so hard to get out just the two of us. It's a goal of ours to make it a priority this year!  Sammy's Kindergarten backpack, lunchbox and thermos came and he couldn't have been more excited. We loaded up all of his supplies and he is ready. Me on the other hand? I need someone to come over here and hold me. Haha.  Smiley boys at the park are ...

Friday Favorites [10-4-2024]

Happy, HAPPY Friday!  I hate to even say it outloud, but Jack slept through the night two nights in a row this week. He's been getting so many teeth - all at the same time for about three weeks. This led to lots of broken nights of sleep for our boy. It is AMAZING how much better I feel getting a full night of sleep. Haha.  Needless to say, I'm feeling extra perky this Friday.  I'm linking up with Andrea  and  Erika  to share a few favorites from my week. ๐Ÿ˜Š Sammy's flag football team is the Chiefs, and so obviously his favorite dog supporter needed to get a matching outfit. Look at Sammy's red cheeks! We're ready for fall weather to arrive in full force over here. Haha.  This week was National Night Out in our town, and Dustin helped work it. I stopped by with the boys, and Jack was genuinely surprised to see so many people who looked like his daddy. He got so excited when he saw the first police car, but was disappointed his daddy wasn't inside. ๐Ÿ˜‰ D...
