Back to School Prep

Am I the only person who doesn't think she can start the school year without a perfectly clean and organized house? It seems every summer I spend some serious time organizing and cleaning our home. Now, don't get me wrong. I am a VERY clean person, and devote time to cleaning daily and on the weekends. However I like to give the house an extra good, deep scrub in the summer. I organize the pantry, make a couple trips to donate items to Goodwill, and clean the windows. In addition to that I like to stock our freezer with a variety of freezer meals. This makes our return back to work SO EASY! I try to make enough freezer meals that I can cook one off weekly the months of August and September.  Besides daily life with my sweet husband and two year old, here's what I've been up to... FREEZER Meals! I made a tater tot casserole, ham balls, and a double batch of BBQ meatballs for the freezer. I'm telling you, realizing you have a homecooked meal ready to go in the freez

It just went by too quickly.  We had SO many popsicles this summer. :) Sammy got a library card and we loved to visit the library. His favorite part was doing all the puzzles.  Fourth of July already?! We met Grandma and Grandpa at the parade.  Sammy quickly learned that the candy being thrown in the best part of the parade. Sweaty smiles at our annual Fourth of July party. :) We took a quick trip to the Wisconsin Dells. This is one of my very favorite pictures of my two boys.  Sammy LOVES pa
