Disney World Part 3

Thanks for following along on all the details of our Disney trip! Our third day at Disney was our rest day, and believe me - we needed it! The night before we stayed at Magic Kingdom super late, so we were excited to an opportunity to sleep in and enjoy the sun at the pool. Our rest day also happened to be New Year's Eve! We did this on purpose to avoid the inevitably large crowds at the parks.  Our little fish was so excited to enjoy the pool! All Disney World resorts have life jackets available for little ones, and this one fit him perfectly. It was great to not have to pack one in the suitcase!  We spent the morning exploring the Art of Animation resort, which is located right next to Pop Century. This resort was so fun! They had large statues of characters around the resort, areas for kids to climb on, and generally a lot more theming than the Pop Century resort. I think that the room sizes are very comparable (if not the same) as the Pop Century resort.  Sammy and Mater!  Samm

Disney World Part 2

This blog post will cover part two of our Disney World trip, and share details from our day at Magic Kingdom. Our day at Magic Kingdom was truly one of my very favorite days in my life. Dustin and I love Disney so much, and it was so incredibly special to see Sammy experience the magic and joy himself.  Dustin and I decided to purchase the "Genie Plus" option for our day at Magic Kingdom. I think that MK is the park most friendly to young children. The rides are in close proximity to each other, and there are few rides that they can't ride. We wanted to maximize our time on the rides and decrease our time waiting in line, so we gladly paid the $15 per person fee to enjoy this add-on. I definitely recommend it! We had had some breakfast items delivered to the resort via InstaCart, and so we ate a quick bite in our room and headed to the Magic Kingdom! We had to use the bus option this day to get to/from the parks and resort.  We got to MK before the park officially opened,

Disney World Part 1

Ahh...Disney World at Christmastime. Is there anything more magical? I think not. :)  In this blog post, I will be sharing about part one of our trip to Disney World. In full transparency, Dustin and I consider ourselves Disney aficionados. We've traveled to Orlando together four times in our five years of marriage. We have a lot more opinions about Disney World than the normal person might. It's our very favorite place to go! No trip to Disney World is the same, and every time it is just as magical. We carefully planned this trip over many months and couldn't wait to spend the Christmas holiday in Disney World.  Here is some basic information about our trip:  1. Our dates of travel were December 28th - January 3rd.  2. We stayed at Pop Century Resort (a resort located on Disney property).  3. We spent four days at the Disney Parks, and had one rest day. For the first time, we used the Park Hopper option add-on to our tickets. It was beneficial because we could go to one pa
