Friday Favorites [5-3-2024]

Yay! It's Friday and it's the month of MAY! Both of those things are very good things in my book. Today I'm linking up with Andrea and Erika to share some favorites from the week.

On Monday I shared that we had a busy weekend! My mom and I hosted a Bridal Shower for my sweet cousin Caitlin, and then our new niece and nephew were baptized on Sunday. It was a fun (but tiring) way to spend the weekend!

Jack especially loved all of the family time, and was happy to sneak in some giggles with Great Grandma before the shower began. ๐Ÿ˜‰

We whipped up these Burrito Bowls for dinner one night this week, and it was a new favorite. It was such an easy meal that Dustin and I both loved!

It's May, which means that it's time for me to read "Charlotte's Web" to my class. I read it every year during the month of May! This book has seen much better years - I think it's time for a new copy. Haha.

The boys and I love to play in the basement, where most of their toys are. Have you heard of the Nugget Couch? It's one of our most versatile toys. You can arrange it to make all sorts of structures. We had set it up as a slide, and Sammy rolled down it with the bean bag on top of him. He said, "look out, it's a Sammy sandwich!"

Baby Jack turned eleven months this week, and I'm in denial that he is turning a year old on June 1st. This year has really flown by. We've started planning his first birthday party. So much fun!

And for fun, here's a little comparison picture of both of my boys at 11 months. You can absolutely tell that they're siblings! I'd love to go back and squeeze Baby Sammy again.

What's everybody up to this weekend? We have NOTHING on the calendar, which I am SO EXCITED about. I need to play catch-up and get ourselves pointed in the right direction again. Have a happy Friday, see you back here Monday! XX

  2. Your little guy is a cutie! Charlotte's Web is still one of my favorites and is a tale that never grows old. Enjoy a weekend with nothing on the calendar. They are so necessary now and then. I hopped over from the Friday Favorites link up this week.

Friday Favorites [3-1-2024]

It's Friday and I'm here sharing my favorites from the week. As usual, I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika . Here we go!  My very first favorite is that Jack is 9 months old today! I can't believe he's been "out" for as long as I was pregnant with him. ๐Ÿ˜Š He is the happiest little baby, and we just can't imagine life without him. I shared a little monthly update on the blog today as well.  Another favorite is that Sammy lost his second tooth over the weekend. He pulled it out himself! I told him that pretty soon he won't have any teeth left. ๐Ÿ˜‰ An easy sheet meal dinner was perfect for our Wednesday night. I took some italian chicken sausage, sweet potato gnocchi, and green beans, plus a little olive oil and seasonings and roasted it up for about 20 minutes. Sammy loves chicken sausages, so a fuss-free dinner is always a win in my book.  We put out some St. Patrick's Day books over the weekend and have been enjoying reading them. I keep a

Hello, Friday. It's always nice to see you. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  to share some favorites from my week. Here we go!  My first favorites are these sweet Easter pictures. We had a fun weekend celebrating! I love any reason for my little boys to get dressed up and get a cute picture. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Another favorite on April 1st was celebrating Jack's 10 month birthday! I can't believe in two months he will be one. I loved this picture showing off his top two teeth.  3 years ago, my family was at one of our favorite places...Disney World! We went to Florida over Easter in 2021 with my extended family and it was a fun little trip. This trip was rescheduled from March of 2020, and I love seeing all of the memories from our trip. Sammy looks SO LITTLE.  In this picture we were riding Dumbo. I remember that Sammy got off the ride and promptly asked to go again. Haha.  We made my  Easy Weeknight Tostadas  on Tuesday of this week and they were a hit! We loved this eas
