Friday Favorites [2-23-24]

Hello Friday, it's nice to see you. ๐Ÿ˜Š As usual, I'm linking up with Erika and Andrea to share some favorites from my week. Let's go!

Are you even from the Midwest if you don't mention this GLORIOUS weather we've had this week? It has been so nice out! It's been lovely to have the windows open for fresh air, and to go on walks and not be entirely freezing.

Jack hit a milestone this week: riding in the stroller without the infant seat attachment. He couldn't have been happier! His legs kicked the entire walk. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Oreos for an after school snack are ALWAYS a favorite in my book.

Easy Trader Joe's meals were saving my life this week. This week hasn't been busy, but Dustin was late coming home several evenings. It was so nice to just have quick meals that I could prepare in a few steps, and with a baby on my hip. We tried the teriyaki chicken from the freezer section this week and it was a new favorite.

These pictures from childcare have been a favorite as well. I love getting updates through the day!

And I love this new picture of Jackson. He is an army-crawling machine, and doesn't like to stay in one place for too long.

& one last funny to end for the week. I saw this on Instagram, and spit out my water. Haha! Can you believe next week is the end of February?!

Have a great weekend, I'll be back on Monday!

Friday Favorites [9-6-2024]

I'm always happy to see Friday, but especially when the weather calls for... this gloriousness this weekend, I.Can't.Wait.!  I'm linking up with Andrea  and Erika  to share some favorites from our busy, short week!  These brothers get so excited to see each other everyday after school, it melts me! They were together at childcare last year, so it makes me think that they have to be missing each other this year.  Brother time is always a favorite of mine. ๐Ÿ˜Š The chicken street taco kit from Costco is a favorite as well! This time of year it's important to get dinner on the table quickly and I love that this kit involves minimal clean-up.  This little boy is determined to start walking. He's getting braver and braver by the day!  There's a new flag football player in town. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Sammy started flag football this week and I can't wait to watch him in action this fall! This is his "tough face." Haha.  Sammy's lunches have been a favorite for sure....

Friday Favorites [10-4-2024]

Happy, HAPPY Friday!  I hate to even say it outloud, but Jack slept through the night two nights in a row this week. He's been getting so many teeth - all at the same time for about three weeks. This led to lots of broken nights of sleep for our boy. It is AMAZING how much better I feel getting a full night of sleep. Haha.  Needless to say, I'm feeling extra perky this Friday.  I'm linking up with Andrea  and  Erika  to share a few favorites from my week. ๐Ÿ˜Š Sammy's flag football team is the Chiefs, and so obviously his favorite dog supporter needed to get a matching outfit. Look at Sammy's red cheeks! We're ready for fall weather to arrive in full force over here. Haha.  This week was National Night Out in our town, and Dustin helped work it. I stopped by with the boys, and Jack was genuinely surprised to see so many people who looked like his daddy. He got so excited when he saw the first police car, but was disappointed his daddy wasn't inside. ๐Ÿ˜‰ D...

Friday Favorites [9-13-2024]

HOORAY for Friday. ๐Ÿ˜Š I couldn't be more excited for the weekend ahead! I'm linking up with  Andrea  and  Erika  to share some of my favorite "happies" from the week.  We had THE BEST weekend last weekend! Saturday morning we were up and out the door early for a trip to Trader Joe's where we filled out cart with all the pumpkin-goodness we could find.  We were home by 11 and decided it was time to put some more fall decor outside... ...to the delight of the boys. ๐Ÿ˜‰ We have an inflatable dachshund (of course we do) that says "Happy Fall-oween!" It's a favorite of the boys for sure.  A trip to Trader Joe's means that my family is having yummy (easy!) dinners during the week. I made a ridiculously easy  Potsticker Stir Fry  for an easy dinner this week while Dustin worked late. We also made some yummy flat breads using their Carne Asada, chimichurri sauce and arugula. This one was our FAVORITE!  Jack's favorite thing to do these day...
