Trader Joe's September Haul

This past weekend, my soul decided it needed Trader Joe's. 😊 It was all decked out for fall and smelled like cinnamon - my version of heaven. I'm sharing some finds from my haul should a trip to Trader Joe's be in your future.

Yes, please! Perfect for our master bath.

I bought this without any thought of what I should put it on, and we walked out of the store without pumpkin bagels. I'll have to pick some up at our local store this week!

This spread + a honeycrisp apple make the yummiest little dessert.

We grilled up this Carne Asade, added flatbreads, chimichurri sauce and arugula and made...

...the yummiest dinner for our Saturday night. This was SO delicious!

This soup is delicious and perfect for lunches. I can typically get 2-3 lunches out of one jar of soup. I'm saving it for when we have some cooler days ahead of us.

I LOVE this sweet potato gnocchi. We typically air fry it and serve it up alongside some of their chicken sausages for an easy dinner.

It's nearly impossible to find chicken nuggets made without rice or oats, but these were a winner! Jack and Sammy both liked them.

We couldn't resist these. 😊 They aren't quite as delicious as ones from the orchard, but they'll do the trick until we get to our orchard!

Sammy is SEVEN!

Sammy is SEVEN! Seven years ago we were at the hospital, excited and nervous to meet our Samuel John. Sammy was always a happy baby and toddler, and that's continued into childhood. He is so affable, friendly, and confident! He loves his family, he loves to play and he loves to be active. Games are his favorite, and he loves to "snuggle." Since returning back to school, he's developed a huge love of reading! As a first grade teacher this WARMS my heart. He loves most books, but right now he favors graphic novels. He is the best big brother. Without us asking, he is so willing to help his brother. Just yesterday, Jack sneezed and Sammy ran to get him a wipe and then proceeded to wipe Jack's nose for him. If someone gets hurt he often hurries to see what's wrong and if he can help. He's a lot like Dustin in that he loves to have fun and be social. What's Up Wednesday [September 2024]

And just like that...it's the last week of the month! Time for What's Up Wednesday with Sheaffer and Shay . What We're Eating this Week... Fall weather is officially upon us, so I'm craving warm, comforting meals. This week's menu is... Sunday - Meatloaf and green beans Monday - Chicken Pot Pie with a green salad Tuesday - "Smash Burger" tacos Wednesday - BBQ Chicken bowls Thursday - Spaghetti Friday - we're grilling up the Trader Joe's Unexpected Cheddar Chicken sausages...so good! My boys have been eating a lot of pumpkin muffins this week. I had to make a second batch this evening because Sammy ate 5 (5!) in one day. We're basically eating pumpkin in whatever we can these days, which is why I made these pumpkin sourdough discard bagels. Friday Favorites [10-4-2024]

Happy, HAPPY Friday! I hate to even say it outloud, but Jack slept through the night two nights in a row this week. He's been getting so many teeth - all at the same time for about three weeks. This led to lots of broken nights of sleep for our boy. It is AMAZING how much better I feel getting a full night of sleep. Haha. Needless to say, I'm feeling extra perky this Friday.
