I've got a tasty little recipe for your next potluck. My mom often made this in the summer months, and now my family loves to enjoy it as well. The key ingredient: Salad Supreme. I've got no idea what's in this jar, but it adds a yummy little texture and crunch that makes the salad extra yummy. It's a little tricky to find in stores, so we always buy it on Amazon. Yum!
Spaghetti Salad
Serves: 8-10
Ingredients:
1 box of spaghetti (I like to use whole wheat noodles)
1 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
1 green pepper, diced
1/2 red onion, diced finely
3 stalks of celery, diced finely
1/2 (give or take) bottle Kraft Zesty Italian dressing
Salad Supreme seasoning, to taste
Directions:
- Bring a large pot of water to boil, and cook your spaghetti noodles until they are al dente.
- Place all of your chopped veggies in a large bowl, and add cooked noodles.
- Mix in Italian Dressing until all noodles and vegetables are covered.
- Top with a generous sprinkling of Salad Seasoning.
- Mix well before serving. This keeps well in the fridge for about 3 or so days.
