This versatile little recipe is a great one to keep in your back pocket. It makes a really delicious BBQ pulled chicken that you can serve in a variety of ways: as sliders, over a baked potato, over rice, as a taco, as a pizza...the ideas are endless!
It takes a few ingredients and a little time in your crockpot. This recipe is easily doubled and great to serve when feeding a crowd.
Crockpot BBQ Chicken
Serves: 4-6 Cook Time: 6 hours
Ingredients:
1 lb boneless, skinless, trimmed chicken breasts
1 cup of your favorite barbeque sauce, plus more for topping
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/4 cup of your favorite italian dressing
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and Pepper
Directions:
- Layer all of your ingredients in a crockpot, starting with the chicken.
- Turn your crockpot on low, and cook for 6 hours.
- When chicken is fully cooked, shred up using two forks. If needed, you could add a bit more of your barbeque sauce.
- Serve up however you would like! Our favorite method is with pickles and red onion on a toasted slider bun.
